What kind of Mobility Scooter do I need?

A mobility scooter is a great way to keep your independence, providing you with a way to visit friends and family whenever you wish. They are very easy to use, easy to look after and cheap to run. You and your Mobility Scooter...

1. Will you be using your mobility scooter indoors or outdoors?

If you are likely to be driving your mobility scooter on roads as well as pavements, you scooter will have to travel 8 MPH and be equipped with lights.

4. Consider any restrictions at home.
Consider the width of your front gate or door and any steps you need to negotiate. If storage space is an issue then a small mobility scooter will be best suited.

5. Make sure your mobility scooter is comfortable?
Consider how much leg room you need and how much support you require. A swiveling captain seat will make getting on and off easier.
